Invitation: Juried Solo Exhibition Opening 10/16 @NARS

October 13, 2015

Dear Brooklyn College Art Department

I am writing from New York Art Residency & Studio Foundation (NARS) to personally invite you to our upcoming Juried Solo Exhibition, Lateral Drift on Friday, October 16, 2015.

The NARS foundation gallery is proud to present its fourth annual juried solo exhibition: ‘Lateral Drift’, a show featuring the work of Elizabeth Hatke, derived from ideas of artworks that have multiple lives. Hatke was selected by Juror David A. Ross, chair of MFA art practice department, school of visual arts. Through a belief that art can exist simultaneously in more than one time and genre, it seeks to coalesce sculpture, performance, and photography. By creating a time-based event; past, present, and future will be reflected in Hatke’s solo exhibition.

On View: October 16 – November 14, 2015

Opening Reception: Friday, October 16, 6-8pm

Artist Talk: Friday, October 16, 7pm

Gallery Hours: Monday-Friday: 12-5pm and by appointment

We would love to see you at the opening on Friday, October 16 or schedule a private viewing of the exhibition for you. Until then, we would appreciate your inclusion of our event in your upcoming listings.

Many thanks,

NARS Foundation
