Accepting applications for INTERNSHIPS
in Museum Education and Arts Administration
SUMMER INTERNSHIP
May 15 – September 6, 2015*
8 hours a week
Seeking Intern to assist with Family l Workshops held at Jackson Pollock’s House – a national landmark in East Hampton. Workshops held on scheduled Saturdays in June, July, and August from 9:00 am -12:00 pm. Additionally, intern will assist five hours a week offsite with all aspects of program administration and marketing. *Note: dates of internship are flexible and if intern has prior commitments on some Saturdays, advance consideration will be given.

OVERVIEW
Working directly with acclaimed author-artist Joyce Raimondo and the public, the Internship offers experience in museum education and arts programming for children. Intern will gain knowledge of how to create and market art events and how to effectively discuss art history with young audiences.

REQUIREMENTS
Interest in art education and enjoys children. Physically able to set up supplies for workshops (some outdoors.) Computer skills in Microsoft Word for Mac Computer. Detail oriented and reliable.

There is no stipend for this Internship.
