Internship Opportunities

May 7, 2014

MASS MoCA is seeking full-time interns for various departments for the Fall 2014 season. These internships provide the opportunity to spend the season in the culturally rich, naturally beautiful Berkshires, while gaining invaluable professional experience in the arts. Paid interns are given $100/week stipend and free housing within a block of the complex (cable, internet, and utilities included). Internship dates: September 8, 2014 – December 19, 2014. Please forward this opportunity on to any of your students who may be interested.

Since opening in 1999, MASS MoCA has become one of the worlds premier centers for making and showing the best art of our time. With annual attendance of 120,000, it ranks among the most visited institutions in the United States dedicated to new art. More than 80 major new works of art and more than 50 performances have been created through fabrication and rehearsal residencies in North Adams, making MASS MoCA perhaps the most fertile site in the country for new art. The museum thrives on making and presenting work that is fresh, surprising, and challenging.

Thank you,

Meghan Robertson

Undergraduate Teaching Fellows Program | The Frick Collection

May 4, 2014

Dear Students,

As you look ahead to the fall semester, The Frick Collection is pleased to announce the launch of a paid Teaching Fellows program, which will train highly motivated undergraduate art history students to lead Guided School Visits in the permanent collection. This is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate art history majors to augment their university coursework by teaching with original works of art. In addition to receiving the equivalent of a course in museum education and a teaching practicum, Teaching Fellows will find community at the Frick and receive compensation, as well as validation for their dedication to museum education.

Please open the attached flyer or visit students with any questions you may have.
