Reminder: Visiting Artist Boshko Boskovic this Thursday

GASU is proud to present its first curator guest lecturer, Boshko Boskovic this coming thursday. Boshko is the Program Director of Residency Unlimited, an international residency program for artists and curators, he will interpret his curatorial trajectory and analyze the role and function of other cultures and their hierarchy and implications in the art world system. Boskovic has extensive experience curating shows across the globe and publishing articles on contemporary art (see below for an extensive biography). He has also taken part in the graduate reviews here at Brooklyn College and we are excited to have him as our guest lecturer. Boskovic has worked at the Felix Gonzalez-Torres Foundation managing the European retrospective Specific Objects Without Specific Form which traveled to the Wiels Contemporary Art Center in Brussels, The Beyeler Foundation in Basel and the Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt.
During his tenure as Associate Director at the Sean Kelly Gallery in New York he worked closely with artists such as Los Carpinteros, Ilya & Emilia Kabakov and Johan Grimonprez.
