Focus & Motivation: MFA artists presenting their art features MFA students from New York area MFA programs presenting their work. Moderators are past Focus & Motivation presenters, MA students in art history or adjunct faculty in art at Hunter College. The series is intended to cultivate an important experiential opportunity in a relatively low-risk, supportive environment, where, at a formative point in their career, artists can learn from presenting their artwork and the presentations of other artists, and moderators can explore working with an audience and a group of professional presenters.
