Upcoming College Group Event at the Metropolitan Museum

Event Description:
Join the College Group at the Met on Friday, December 2 for an intimate visit to The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s special exhibition Infinite Jest: Caricature and Satire from Leonardo to Levine, currentlyon view through March 4, 2012. The event begins with a caricature drawing class led by Steve Brodner, an artist who specializes in satire and political commentary. Brodner is currently a contributor to The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times. The class will be followed by a viewing of the exhibition.

The drawing class begins at 6:15 p.m. in the Art Studio in the Ruth and Harold D. Uris Center for Education. At 7:00 p.m. the class will move to the Galleries for Drawings, Prints and Photographs for a viewing of the exhibition.

Space is limited; you must RSVP to mailto:metcollegegroup> to reserve your place in the class. First come, first serve. This event is free with Museum admission.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is located on Fifth Avenue at 82nd Street.
