ShopRite Announces T-Shirt Design Contest for a chance to be featured on a 2012 Cheerios® Box and on the runway at New York Fashion Week, cash prize!

We want to tap into these qualities by announcing a call for entries for a t-shirt design contest for ShopRite’s "Knock Out Hunger" campaign.

The winner of the contests will receive $2,500, be featured during an special unveiling event at the Time Warner Center in New York City, meet Jeannie Mai (host of "How Do I Look?"), have their t-shirt design featured on a September 2012 special edition Cheerios Box, see their winning design on the runway in Project Runway’s Korto Momolu’s fashion show during New York Fashion Week in September 2012 and lastly, earn their local Feeding America bank a $2,500 donation on behalf of ShopRite’s "Partners in Caring."

Impressive prizes will also be awarded to second and third place winners, and the top 15 finalists will all be a part of the unveiling event as well.

We would love for you to encourage your students to take part in this exciting opportunity! The best part – the contest is open to anyone, including faculty, friends or family! Entries are being accepted now through January 1, 2012.

ShopRite’s "Knock Out Hunger" T-Shirt Design Contest with Celebrity Judge, Host of Style Network’s "How Do I Look?" Jeannie Mai

Winning design to be featured on a 2012 Cheerios® Box and on the runway at New York Fashion Week

General Mills and ShopRite are calling all compassionate artists interested in hunger awareness and able to draw attention to the plight through their artwork!

Beginning September 1, 2011, and running through January 1, 2012, contestants are invited submit their original, 8.5"x11" designs to http://www.ShopRiteShopOnceGiveTwice.com<http://www.shopriteshoponcegivetwice.com/>.

To be considered, the hand drawn or digitally designed image must incorporate the "Partners In Caring" logo, and either depict what hunger means to you or show the effect hunger has on your local community.

The winning artist will:
§ Win $2,500 in cash
§ Be featured during an official unveiling event at the Time Warner Center in New York City
§ Have the opportunity to meet celebrity judge Jeannie Mai, host of Style Network’s "How Do I Look?" makeover series
