da Centotto: Magi and Other Diplomats (and a Defense Minister)

1 marzo MMXI

Cari amici,

Please join us at Centotto this Saturday, 5 March 2011, at 5pm for "Star
Chasers: Visual Evolution of the Magi," an informal *interstizio* lecture
and discussion led by Alice Lynn McMichael (Brooklyn MA alum). This event is part of, and will
thus take place during, SITE Fest, an annual performance festival produced
by Arts in Bushwick. Details regarding Alice Lynn’s lecture can be found
on the flyer below. Details regarding SITE Fest, including maps and listings
of dozens of other events, can be found

In addition, we are proud to announce that John Avelluto and Josh Willis
have been selected by the venerably u-bike-quitous James Kalm to represent
Centotto this weekend in Brooklyn Art Now, part of Verge Art Brooklyn, an
extensive and, in some sense, meta-collaborative art fair that will be held
in Dumbo this weekend, Thursday through Sunday. Details regarding Verge Art
fair and Brooklyn Art Now can be found

Here, here, here. *Hear ye!*

Since there might not be* a whole lot else *of arts-related interest (cough
cough) going on this weekend, feel free to while away some time with us on
Saturday before and after Alice Lynn’s talk, as Centotto will be open from
4-7pm. We would be delighted to see you, and we’re delighted to note that
our recently opened *simposio* exhibit <http://centotto.com/> will yet be,
with noteworthy anthropo-abundance, on view.

Grazie mille, a presto,

n.b. If you would like to be removed from the Centotto email list, I commend
you. Write back to let me know. Please note, however, that you will always
have received this message, which means that if you ever decide to refer to
James Kalm as u-bike-quitous, you might have to footnote me. Or if not, you
could always hang out with a certain former defense
Germany. Just kidding! Not really. Maybe? –
