Project Assistant Needed for Installation of Monumental Artwork

The pay is not great on this one guys, but the experience is pretty fantastic:

This is an open call for a five-week assistantship to work alongside the artist Janos Stone fabricating and installing his sculpture at the Hungarian Cultural institute. His piece titled: “Any Sufficiently Advanced Technology is Indistinguishable From Magic.” is comprised of a massive collection of human-sized polyhedron, made of gypsum board (Sheetrock) and images of the night sky, screen captured from web-posted home movies from around the world.

This project requires that the assistant be very careful, patient and precise as well as having good building and basic carpentry skills.

The assistantship asks 8-hrs/per day with the possibility of some longer days and runs from August 18th until September 15th.
