The Frick Collection | Summer 2014 Internships

The Frick Collection is pleased to offer paid and unpaid summer internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students who possess an interest in pursuing careers in art museums. Students with strong backgrounds in art history, museum studies, and museum education are encouraged to apply, but applicants may only apply to one department per internship season.

Applications for the Curatorial and Education Departments of the Frick must be received no later than January 31, 2014. Additional internship opportunities in the Collection and the Frick Art Reference Library will be posted at a later date.

Intern in a Brooklyn Sculptor’s studio

 SCULPTOR in Sunset Park, Brooklyn who works in various techniques and medias.
 A list of the medias would involve using wood, foam, cardboard, cement, plaster and metal.
Techniques like cutting and sanding, drilling and fabricating wood/metal, also working with
plaster, cement and paints to create certain visual effects.
